PRIZE INFORMATION
PRIZES
The Top Prize Karaoke Singing competition awards a number of different prizes at each level of the competition. These prizes may be supplied from a number of different sources including: Monetary or product donations from sponsors, Monetary or product donations from our participating venue, Monetary or product donations that are supplied by Top Prize Karaoke, and cash prizes that are secured through the use of prize insurance and guaranteed by our participating insurance partners.
These prizes may be summarized as follows:
EVENT PRIZES: There are cash prizes for qualifying events for first place winners and awards for second place winners. The winner of each qualifying event will be allowed to advance to the next level of the competition where the prizes values are even larger!
DOOR PRIZES: Every TPK event regardless of level will usually offer one or more door prizes. All attendees to a TPK event (Contestant or general audience) are eligible to win these prizes. These prizes are picked randomly from tickets that are given to each attendee, or contestant on entry to the event.
RAFFLE PRIZES: Most TPK events will offer a separate group of prizes that may be won through the purchase of raffle tickets. Only attendees (General Admission, and contestants) that purchase tickets for these raffles are eligible to win these prizes. These prizes are awarded randomly and may range in value.
SECRET SONG PRIZE: Every TPK event will have a randomly picked secret song. At the end of the event the secret song will be revealed and the allocated cash prize will be awarded to anyone that has sung the named song during the evening’s competition. Only contestants that are participating (singing) in the contest are eligible to win the secret song prize. These prizes and may range in value. In the event this prize is not awarded the value of the prize is carried forward and added to the secret song prize pot for the next event.
CONTESTANT RANDOM PRIZE DRAW: Most TPK events will have contestant draw prizes. Only contestants that are participating (singing) in the contest during the event are eligible to win these prizes. These prizes and may range in value and are awarded randomly to the chosen singers.
TPK GRAND PRIZE AWARDS: The provincial finals will award prizes to the top three singing contestants as determined by our automated scoring system. It is estimated that these prizes will be valued at $1,000-$10,000 for first place winner, $500-$5,000 for the second place and $250-$2,500 for the third place winners. The values of these prizes are estimated based on the forecasted contest participation and event turn out, so final cash values can be higher or lower than the estimate.
